Most planning applications have gaps. We find them.

Independent audits of Irish planning applications, tested against how An Coimisiún Pleanála and the councils have actually decided comparable cases — commissioned by applicants, planning consultants, councils and community groups.

How we work

How engagement works

When a client retains us — an applicant, planning consultant, council or community group — the work is confidential to that client. We don’t publish findings from a client’s work, and we don’t act for anyone else against a client’s application. Audits we carry out on our own initiative are our own analysis; where we publish them, we publish the analysis, not advice to any party.

Audits are available to applicants, planning consultants, councils and community groups, retained on the same terms by any of them.

More on how we work

Who it’s for

Who uses PlanningAudits

Applicants, developers and planning consultants

We find the gaps in your application before it’s lodged — while you can still fix them. A correct application from the start moves faster and wastes nobody’s time.

Community groups and the public

Planning decisions affect your community. You can commission an audit of an application the same way an applicant does — findings in plain language, backed by the application’s own documents and decided cases.

Councils

Planning applications are large and complex documents. Our audits cross-reference them directly against the applicant’s own documents and planning law — surfacing the points that matter before a decision is made.
